How to Reupholster a Chair Seat
Jazz up your chair seat with a simple reupholstering project. Start by flipping the chair over. Unscrew the seat and take it off. Remove the old fabric. Check for any cracks in the wood. Replace the padding if it’s flat. No one wants to sit on a hard seat!
Cut your new fabric. Leave extra fabric on the sides. This extra will help when you wrap it around the seat. Staple the fabric down, starting in the center. Pull tight, like you’re stretching a drum.
Corners can be tricky. Fold the fabric neatly at the corners. This will give a clean look.
